I'm Kelly, a silversmith, flight attendant, and believer that some of life's best moments live in the in-between, the moments that make life feel full, toes in the sand, golden sunsets, fall sweater weather, crisp mountain air, your favorite pizza, and mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I grew up in sunny Florida but now call Alaska home, where I found my creative calling, and the love of my life. My time at the bench actually started as art therapy, exploring different mediums, until the moment I hit silversmithing, and I was hooked. It's a place that reminds me to slow down, stay grounded, and savor the beauty this world has to offer.

When I'm not at my bench or flying through the air, I'm usually adventuring through this life's journey with my best friend and partner. One day we'll have a few rescue pups, but until then I say "hi" to every dog I see, and follow more than a few on Instagram.

I taught myself metalsmithing from scratch, no formal classes, no one standing over my shoulder. I decided I wanted to learn silversmithing, so I just went for it! Along the way I found an incredible community of teachers and smiths sharing their craft online, and I wouldn't be where I am without that community. Now, I have traveled to take a couple classes and plan to continue to learn and grow my skills through in-person classes from experts.

Every time I look at that photo of little me, I think she'd be pretty proud, teaching herself a craft this cool, all on her own.

I thrive in the sun, I'm a solar-powered gal at heart. Winters take me back to the sun for work, and somewhere in that back-and-forth, I found exactly where I'm supposed to be: a beach babe who fell hard for the mountains.
